30 years ago today (11/21/88), My Bloody Valentine released their debut full-length LP Isn’t Anything. The album has stood the test as a pioneering work of the subgenre known as shoegazing. Of course, the band three years later went on to release the cult favorite Bloodless, Isn’t Anything remains instrumental with its innovative instrumental and production techniques.
