35 Years Ago Today – Robert Plant Releases Debut Solo LP ‘Pictures at Eleven’ (Watch “Burning Down One Side” Video)

35 years ago today (6/28/82), Robert Plant released his debut solo LP Pictures at Eleven. Following the breakup of Led Zepplin two years earlier following John Bonham’s death, Pictures at Eleven fared well with critics and fans spawning two singles: “Burning Down One Side” and “Pledge Pin.” Phil Collins played drums for six of the album’s eight songs and ex-Rainbow drummer Cozy Powell handled drums on “Slow Dancer” and “Like I’ve Never Been Gone.” Let’s watch the early era MTV video for “Burning Down One Side”….
