40 Years Ago Today- AC/DC Release ‘Back in Back’ With New Lead Singer Brian Johnson

40 years ago today (7/25/80), AC/DC released Back in Black, their most commercially successful album and their first without Bon Scott as lead singer. New frontman (not counting Angus), Brian Johnson took the hard jeans to fill gig with all the rigor and gravelly charm expected of an AC/DC frontman as the album released single after single that you’ve’ heard at sporting stadiums, strip clubs, and everywhere else in between.
