40 years ago today (1/20/83), Def Leppard released their third album, Pyromania. Like their previous effort, High ‘n’ Dry, it’s produced by Mutt Lange and is the first album to feature Phil Collen who replace founding member Pete Willis. Pyromania featured big arena rock tracks that included hits “Photograph,” “Too Late For Love,” “Foolin'” and “Rock Of Ages.” The band would further gloss their pop-metal sound with big choruses that would set the table for 1987’s Hysteria which would feature seven hit singles.
