  1. Sorry but the Tour you write about was Elvis’ 2nd of 5 Tours in 1977.

Tour 1 was FEB 12 to FEB 21

Tour 2 was MAR 23 to APR 03 (but Mar 31 to APR 03 were cancelled)

Tour 3 was APR 21 to MAY 03

Tour 4 was MAY 20 to JUN 02

Tour 5 was JUN 17 to JUN 26

Tour 6 was set for AUG 17 to AUG 28 but this sadly never happened due to Elvis passing away on the 16th.

Elvis performed 55 live concerts in the first 6 months. Elvis was a very unwell man and should have been taking time off to relax and get himself sorted. Instead, Colonel Parker worked the man stupid.

  2. ASU also has an employee on staff named Marshall Terrill who has written books about Elvis Presley.

  3. I attended the March 1977 concert at ASU in Tempe AZ. I feel very fortunate to have attended one of the last Elvis concerts. There isn’t much to say that hasn’t already been said. Elvis Presley was the King. As a Marine who served our country, I show the utmost respect for Elvis for his service to our country. God bless the USA and Elvis Presley.
