40 years ago today (3/23/77(), Elvis Presley appeared at the Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona to kick off this last ever tour. This was the first date of a 49 date US tour that lasted over three months. His last ever show was on 26th June 1977 at the Indianapolis Indiana Market Square Arena. Elvis died on 8/16/77.
