40 years ago today (7/27/81), Stevie Nicks released her solo debut LP Bella Donna. Following three immensely successful albums as a member of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie proved her star power can stand alone with help fro her scarfs, lace, and distinctive raspy voice. Bella Donna contains arguably rock’s most preeminent duet, “Stop Dragging My Heart Around” with Tom Petty.
