40 years ago today (6/10/85), Talking Heads released their sixth studio album Little Creatures. A departure from their earlier orchestrated funk workouts (Remain In Light) and art school punk (first two albums), the four-piece drifted in a more Americana musical direction, wrapped in more conventional song structures and pop-friendly hooks. Little Creatures became Talking Heads’ best-selling album in the U.S., thanks in part to the MTV-era visuals for “And She Was” and “Road to Nowhere.” Watch the official video for “And She Was”….
