47 Years Ago Today, Former Members of Free, Mott the Hoople and King Crimson Unite To Create Bad Company

47 years ago today (1/18/74), former members from Free, (Paul Rodgers & Simon Kirke), Mott The Hoople (Mick Ralphs), and King Crimson, (Boz Burrell), formed Bad Company. The band went on to score a US No.1 album with their debut release and scored classic rock staple hits that include “Can’t Get Enough,” “Feel Like Making Love,” “Shooting Star,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy” and “Ready for Love.” If any band had the recipe for bonafide classic rock radio it had to be these guys – where power chords and powerful vocals defined a memorable catalog.
