50 years ago today (1/18/74), former members from Free, (Paul Rodgers & Simon Kirke), Mott The Hoople (Mick Ralphs), and King Crimson, (Boz Burrell), formed Bad Company. The band went on to score a US No.1 album with their self-titled debut release and scored classic rock staple hits that include “Can’t Get Enough,” “Feel Like Making Love,” “Shooting Star,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy” and “Ready for Love.” If any band had the recipe for bonafide classic rock radio staples it had to be these guys – where power chords and Paul Rodgers’ powerful undeniable vocals defined a memorable catalog.
