50 years ago today (3/18/74), Rush released their self-titled debut studio album. Written and recorded before Neil Pearl joined up; Rush featured the trio of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and John Rutsey on drums. The trio showed a hard rock Zeppelinish sound that would soon dissipate when Peart joined the band, yet the Rush favorite “Working Man” has proven one of their most enduring songs and was even the last song the trio ever played together live (8/1/15).
