13 years ago today (2/11/07), The Police (Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers) reunited to perform during the opening of the Grammy Awards show. Prior to the Grammys, the last time the Police played in front of an audience was at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in March, ’03 and prior to that they last toured in the early 80’s. This performance would have the band playing a reunion tour that would last close to two years. Watch the trio perform “Roxanne” at the televised event.
