Happy 55th birthday today to John Bell “JB” of Widespread Panic who was born on 4/14/62. The Widespread Panic frontman/rhythm guitarist has one of the most distinct and raw deliveries in the scene and his raspy soulful vocals have helped form the backbone of a song catalog that is hundreds deep and helps make Panic a true lyrically sound rock band with the penchant for musical improvisation.
