Happy 70th birthday today to Richard Thompson who was born on 4/3/49. Thompson made his début as a recording artist as a member of Fairport Convention in September 1967 and has since become one of the most prolific and respected singer-songwriters in the last six decades. Thompson’s 2018 album 13 Rivers, proves to be his strongest work in years, as the lifelong troubadour continues to excel at the songwriting game.
