Ten Years Ago today- Pink Floyd Releases Final Album ‘The Endless River’

Ten years ago today (11/7/14), Pink Floyd released their final album The Endless River. Largely instrumental it served as a tribute to the band’s late keyboardist, Richard Wright. The album originated from sessions for The Division Bell (1994), and it captures the band’s ambient, atmospheric side, drawing on sounds from their 1970s work. It is structured in four parts and is described as a journey through soundscapes and though mostly instrumental, it includes one vocal track, “Louder Than Words.” Check out the David Gilmour sung tune…..
