It would be hard to find an obituary of Phil Ramome, the famed producer who passed away last weekend, without the name Paul Simon turning up. Ramone helped define Simon’s sound as a solo artist having produced 1973’s There Goes Rhymin’ Simon, 1975’s Still Crazy After All These Years and 1980’s One Trick Pony – a trio of exceptional albums that are far different from each other.
