With its supporting run with Arctic Monkeys coming to a close, White Denim is turning its attention toward the fall. The Austin, TX-based band will kick off a headline tour on September 8 at the Iron Horse in Northampton, MA. The outing will include a previously announced three-night stand at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY (September 10-12) and shows at Ottobar in Baltimore, MD (September 13), Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, NC (September 18) and 40 Watt in Athens, GA (September 19). The run will wrap up with an evening at The Fonda in Los Angeles (October 21). Tickets for the new headline dates will go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, June 27.
White Denim will tape its “Austin City Limits” debut on August 4. The episode will air during the groundbreaking music television show’s upcoming 40th anniversary season.The band, which performed at Bonnaroo and Firefly earlier this month, will be playing many other festivals this year, including Lollapalooza in Chicago, Boston Calling and the Treasure Island Festival in San Francisco.
