More unfortunate news came out of the Allman Brothers Band camp yesterday, as the band decided to pull out of their scheduled performance at Bonnaroo. Unfortunately, Gregg Allman needs more time to continue recovering from treatment for Hepatitis C. As we previously reported, the band also postponed their annual Beacon run for the same reason. We want to send Gregg our best wishes, and we hope to see him back behind the B-3 sometime this summer.
The press release about the Allmans’ cancellation also revealed an interesting development. Bonnaroo’s organizers want you to sit tight until this Thursday for an “exciting announcement.” Anyone care to wager a guess?
