Kanye Makes Bonnaroo’s Late Night Stronger

Some interesting news came out of Camp Bonnaroo yesterday, as it was announced that rapper Kanye West will become the first artist to play a late-night on the main stage. Here’s some info about the change…

We are excited to announce that Kanye West will now be performing a late night show on the Main Stage on Saturday, June 14th instead of the previously announced time! This scheduling change is being made to allow Kanye to fully present his critically acclaimed “Glow In The Dark” show.

Kanye will now hit the the What Stage at 2:45 AM, where he will go head to head against Phil’s 2nd set, Ghostland Observatory, Talib Kweli and Chali2na. That’s a tough decision in the making, right there. Whose set are you gonna see?

  1. no kidding you found a pic of The Glow in the Dark show? My understanding is there is a complete photo blackout of this show. No one, not the newspapers, not the mags, not the cellphones in the crowd gets a shot of this show.
Only exception appears to be the Virgin Fest and maybe Bonnaroo.
Its definitely come a long and strange way from the early days of jambands only….

  2. YMWV, but as far as I’m concerned, “rap” is an overglorified and horrendously overrated waste of time and electricity. Stick to REAL music!

  3. Hopefully everyone goes to see Phil and Douchye West is “playing” to an empty field. Asshats like him give rap a bad name.

  4. I’m so upset. I was really looking forward to Talib and Chali2na as well as Kanye. However, I probably wont go see Kanye by himself, which I’m more likely to do with the others, so Glow In the Dark it is

  5. yeh I went to go see his show…not only did he show up almost 2hrs later..but there was pretty much nothing besides his shoes glowing in the dark. I respect kanye, but i don’t think this was one of his best shows..
