Briefly: Classic TAB Warmup in Billyburg

Trey Anastasio’s Classic TAB lineup of Strangefolk drummer Russ Lawton, Unknown Blues Band bassist Tony Markellis, and Viperhouse keyboardist Ray Paczkowski are preparing for their appearance at the All Points West Festival on August 10 by playing a warmup gig at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on August 7. We’re still awaiting full details on this bad boy, but according to the event’s Ticketmaster page tickets go on sale this Saturday at Noon.

The venue only holds a little over 500 people, so tickets should sell out within 11 seconds or so. Best of luck phans, but in the meantime let’s hear about your favorite TAB moment from 1999 – 2004. I’ll start with mine, and then you can leave a comment below. I’d say my favorite TAB moment was hearing the debut of Push On Till The Day with its delicious horn lines, intense build up and Phish-y lyrics at the Orpheum Theater in Boston back on February 21, 2001.
