Televised Tune: On The Tube This Week

VH1 Classic will air the Metallica documentary Some Kind of Monster tonight at Midnight. Released in July, 2004 the film features unprecedented access to the band members as they recorded the album St. Anger. Fans can see the band come apart at the seams as lead singer James Hetfield battles a drinking problem and Lars Ulrich is his usual pain in the ass self. Shot over the course of about a year, the film gives you a look at a side of a band rarely seen by the public, including therapy sessions with an always-on-call shrink.
