Last Sunday, an article in the Star Ledger detailed the distribution of concert tickets for Bruce Springsteen’s recent performances at the Izod Center in New Jersey which gave the impression that The Boss was partially responsible for the ticketing debacle surrounding those shows. Bruce’s manager, Jon Landau, just posted a response blasting Ticketmaster and explaining the Ledger’s numbers over at BruceSpringsteen.net.
God help us if Live Nation and Ticketmaster are allowed to merge.

Finally, if the lack of tour dates didn’t give it away, we’ve got confirmation that My Morning Jacket is on hiatus from Spinner’s Benjy Eisen. MMJ drummer Patrick Hallahan explains, “we’ve been touring for eight years straight. We all have other things going on right now.” Hopefully this hiatus doesn’t turn into a breakup any time in the near future.

How do I request they play “Pretzel Logic” in it’s entirety? Far and away the best Steely Dan album.
haha – the above news about MMJ reads like MMJ went on hiatus ‘thanks to Benjy Eisen’ rather than the HT heard the news about MMJ’s hiatus thanx to benjy eisen….I was thinking, ‘Damn, Benjy has really increased his clout since writing for Relix.’ haha.
