Widespread Panic will release the third installment of their Widespread Panic Archives series tomorrow featuring a show from April 3, 1996 at the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Huntsville 1996 contains a fantastic mix of old classics, fun bust outs and the debut of the rare Sandbox. To celebrate the release,  the official Archives blog is streaming Huntsville 1996 all day.  The Archives blog also offers up a complete rundown of the technical work that went into prepping this classic show for release.

Elsewhere, Jemimah Puddleduck will perform on David Gans’ Dead to the World radio program on KPFA on July 1st, 2009, from 8 pm to about 9:30 pm to celebrate the release of Mark Karan’s Walk Through the Fire disc. Walk Through The Fire – an album that will hit stores and iTunes on June 30 – features an outstanding cast of musicians including Delaney Bramlett (in his first posthumous release), The Persuasions, Bill Payne (Little Feat) and The Rowan Brothers as well as Karan’s Jemimah Puddleduck band mates. You can hear the show live on www.kpfa.org and www.kfcf.org; it will also be on www.nugs.net.
