The String Cheese Incident Cap Off Two-Night Oregon Run at Cuthbert Amphitheater (RECAP/PHOTOS)

After an opening night that featured a slew of cover songs, String Cheese Incident’s second night at the Cuthbert Amphitheater in Eugene, Oregon saw the band pull mostly from their own material. The first set did feature a cover of Peter Rowan’s “Midnight Moonlight” and ended strong with “Stop Drop Roll” jammed right through “Texas.”

“It Is What It Is” set the tone for the second set. A drum segment led into a rollicking “Impressions” with Jeff Pevar sitting in on guitar. The Jazz Is Dead guitarist came back out to help finish up the show with “Shakin’ The Tree.” The crowd, screaming for more, brought the band out to take a bow, concluding a powerful couple of shows for Oregon Cheese fans.

Set 1: Song In My Head, These Waves > Hi Ho No Show, Midnight Moonlight, Falling Through The Cracks, Stop Drop Roll > Texas

Set 2: It Is What It Is, Smile > Drums > Impressions, Hotel Window, Sweet Spot

Encore: Can’t Wait Another Day, Shakin’ The Tree
