Farm Aid 2017 took place September 16, 2017 at KeyBank Pavillion in Burgettstown, PA. The 2017 lineup featured Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Jack Johnson, The Avett Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Jamey Johnson, Blackberry Smoke, Valerie June, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Insects vs Robots. The highlight was Neil Young making his first live appearance since the 2016 Bridge School Benefit, and a spectacular fiery set was delivered, with help from his backing band Promise of the Real.
