Christine and the Queens, the project of French pop star Heloise Letissier, start their North American Tour on October 23rd at The Showbox in Seattle. They also hit the East Coast with shows in Philadelphia and New York.
Letissier is touring in support of her critically acclaimed studio album, Chris, released on September 21st. The album is a follow up to her stellar 2015 debut Chaleur Humain.
Christine and the Queens started turning heads in 2015 with the international hit ‘Tilted”. Known for her unique music style, blending pop, dance and synth music, her popularity soared in 2016 after show-stopping performances at Coachella and the Glastonbury Festival. She suddenly found herself a big new loyal fan base. Letissier’s gender-bending style is reminiscent of other artists such as music icons Madonna and Annie Lennox.
What can you expect from a Christine and the Queens show? You’ll see a highly imaginative set that’s part avante garde and part pop show. Oh…and dancing.
