Goose has announced plans for a live stream concert from Rockefeller Center in the heart of New York City. “Goosemas Livestream from Rockefeller Center” is the band’s seventh annual holiday celebration in as many years. The livestream premieres December 11 at 7pm ET exclusively on Twitch with proceeds benefiting Save Our Stages and Conscious Alliance. The unique performance will be streamed on Twitch’s new Relix Channel.
“Goosemas 4 was my first gig playing with Goose so the annual show has a big place in my heart. I’m bummed we can’t be with our family and friends in person for this one, but the location is going to make it that much more exciting to stream,” said Goose’s Peter Anspach (Guitar, Keys, Vocals). “I’m beyond stoked we were able to pull that together in such a chaotic year. Big shout out to our whole team for always crushing it, Peter Shapiro, and thanks to Rockefeller Center for hosting what will be a very special night.”
Nestled over seven stories high in the Manhattan skyline, “Goosemas Livestream From Rockefeller Center” will be the first livestream of its kind, which comes as no surprise given the band’s penchant for innovation and creativity over the past year. The late December event will be the capstone to an incredible year that saw Goose complete their universally acclaimed Bingo Tour, which amassed thousands of viewers over the “Digital Tour,” as well as a string of sold-out socially-distant drive-in shows this fall.
