Country Westerns Announce Covers EP, Share Norman Blake’s “Undeletable”

Nashville rockers Country Westerns are excited to announce a new EP featuring covers of Jad Fair and Norman BlakeRichard & Linda Thompson and Dead Moon, as well as new original song. The announcement of the EP, which is due June 18, 2021 via Fat Possum Records, is heralded by the band’s heartfelt cover of Jad Fair and Norman Blake’s “Undeletable” and its official video — watch the video, hear the track and pre-order the EP HERE. These songs find the band expanding their sonic palette and even features vocals from bassist Sabrina Rush on the Dead Moon cover (a first for the band, and to great success).

“I’ve always been a fan of both Half Japanese and Teenage Fanclub, I was lucky enough to find this record,” the band’s Joseph Plunket says. “I feel like it became an anthem for our band. It reminds me of AC/DC’s ‘It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock N’ Roll).’ It’s a more positive song than I could ever write. I love it and I hope we did it justice.”
