“The song was inspired by the heartbreak of a close friend of mine. I wanted to embody the essence of trying to leave someone you love dearly and the struggle that comes with that. The constant back and forth of things not working out and just not being able to wait on the person to get their act together can hurt and be tiring. So I tried to just capture feelings in a song.”
