Breakout trio Gabriels are setting out on a select run of headline U.S. tour dates next year in support of their new EP, Bloodline, which is out now on Elektra. Kicking off on March 3 in San Francisco, the tour includes the group’s debut performances at New York’s National Sawdust and D.C.’s Songbyrd Music House before returning to Los Angeles for a show at the Troubadour. These dates will be followed by a run of sold-out shows at Glasgow’s King Tut’s, Manchester’s YES and London’s Lafayette as well as numerous U.K. performances with Celeste. Further 2022 dates will be announced soon, while the current tour routing can be found below.
Bloodline follows the group’s 2020 debut EP, Love & Hate In A Different Time, which was released to widespread acclaim. In August, Gabriels made their U.S. television debut on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (below) at the personal invitation of guest host Maren Morris, which followed their U.K. late night debut on “Later…With Jools Holland” in June.
Gabriels is acclaimed gospel singer and choir director Jacob Lusk and co-producers Ari Balouzia and Ryan Hope who are, respectively, also a classically trained musician/soundtrack artist and an established film director. Their music initially garnered attention abroad, leading to a record deal with Atlas Artists/Parlophone and support from Gilles Peterson, Celeste, Paul Weller, Benji B, Jungle, Virgil Abloh, BADBADNOTGOOD and Elton John, who branded their track “Love & Hate in a Different Time” as “one of the most seminal records I’ve heard in the last ten years.”
