Billy Strings just posted to his website European fall tour dates.
Strings and his band kick off the 10-show run in Oslo, Norway at the Rockefeller Music Hall on November 29 before landing in Glasgow, Scotland, U.K. for the final date on December 11.
Strings started gaining notoriety in 2016, and by 2017 Rolling Stone named him one of the top 10 new country artists to follow.
His first European tour, coming six years into his career on the national stage, is reminiscent of the Grateful Dead’s first jaunt across the pond occurring in 1972, seven years after their 1965 humble beginnings in San Francisco dance halls and Ken Kesey’s famed Acid Tests.
Strings also will perform two shows in London this weekend, March 26-27 at the Islington Assembly Hall.
