WATCH: Beach House Perform Haunting Version Of “Superstar” On ‘Colbert’

Indie power players Beach House went on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Thursday (May 19). Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally were joined by drummer James Barone for a haunting went electrifying performance of their song “Superstar”

The track is off of their latest studio release Once Twice Melody, which arrived in February of this year via Sub Pop Records. The album was released in four sections totaling up to an hour and a half of sweet serenades and boastful instrumentation. This album acts as the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s 7. This is the band’s second-time playing Colbert’s show, on their first appearance, they premiered the song “One Thing” which would end up on their 2015 album Thank Your Lucky Stars

This performance tails the news that the Baltimore duo just landed their first gig scoring a feature film. Earlier this year Netflix released their movie “Along For The Ride” which featured an original score from Beach House.

Between scoring movies and scoring number one album spots, Beach House is having a valiant year.
