Watch: Roger Waters Perform “Happiest Days of Our Lives/Another Brick In The Wall Pts 2 & 3” On ‘Colbert’

The elusive frontman Roger Waters has reared his head for a rare late night performance on Colbert last night (June 21). Waters performed a melody of two classic Pink Floyd songs from their landmark 1979 album The Wall. Waters was on stage with a full band to perform three tracks from their classic album, “Happiest Days of Our Lives” and “Another Brick in the Wall Pts. 2 & 3”.

Waters was there to promote his upcoming tour, “This is Not a Drill”. The 43-date tour is set to kick off in Pittsburgh at the PPG Paints Arena on July 6 before heading across North America. This is Waters’ first tour since 2018 with a few festival appearances and one-off dates sprinkled in between. If his song choice for his late-night appearance is any indication, the legendary Pink Floyd frontman has a career-spanning setlist planned for this tour.

Waters seemed happy to be back performing his timeless songs, before kicking off the performance he let out a guttural “Stand Still, Laddy!” The three-songs were a clinic of musicianship and for 78-years old, Waters seemed more ready than ever to tear down a performance.
