On his forthcoming LP “Dusted Beauty,” Chicago-born singer/songwriter John Fatum invited his oldest musical friends and peer mentors to record with him in his new home of Los Angeles. Jeff Picker (bass), Julian Pollack (aka J3PO, keyboards), Ben Flocks (saxophones), Robin MacMillan (drums, percussion), Michael Fatum (trumpet), and Adrian Olsen (co-producer/engineer/mixer) arrived and an experiment began, exploring the positive role models that Fatum calls the sequoia trees of his life’s grove.
