Lionel Richie Brings Hit Parade To St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center (PHOTOS)

In the ’80s, Lionel Richie certainly was up there amongst the biggest pop stars of the time: Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Prince. The former Commodores member made the successful break into a solo career that spawned a series of big hits that have remained part of many a Generation Xer. Richie brought his greatest hits and some big Commodores singles to the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN for a colorful and dynamic vocal-led performance. Photos by Billy Briggs.
