The power trio, composed of Angeeta Sentana on guitar and vocals, Akbar Rumandung on bass, and Edo Alventa on guitar, has been making waves in the Southeast Asian music scene since their formation in 2016.

“I constantly struggle with suicidal thoughts, and I feel like it reached its peak in my early 20s. The fact that I am diagnosed with bipolar disorder and that I have to live with it every single day were some of the reasons why I thought I was better off dead. It felt tiring to be in my body, having to go through and navigate the mania and depression, especially when I was still unmedicated,” says Sentana
“There’s a tarot reference in “Better Than Life”—“I’m locked inside a tower/I hear it grumbling from the ground”—which refers to “The Tower” card. I used it to refer to a sudden and critical transformation that was about to come into my life that would eventually help me be able to change how I treat and see myself.”
