LISTEN: Dave Burn Praises The Art of Laziness On Ripe Alt-Folker “Sun Sometimes”

Dave Burn considers himself a hobbyist when it comes to his music but hey, on his new single, “Sun Sometimes”, Burn is as dialed and as legitimate as most who are trying to make a living out of singing songs. His voice is powerful yet quivers at times with a sensitive disposition. The song hinges on wide and rich percussive pushing blending with a sea of steel guitar and keyboard twinklings. “Sun Sometimes” is an alt-folk highlight and a perfect example of how sometimes the best things come from those who are just doing them because they love the act of making something beautiful.

“The song is about the art of laziness and my favorite lyric is “I feel like the sun sometimes, trapped in a mind so narrow,” says Burn.
