It’s one thing to stumble upon great concert footage of Alice in Chains in their prime, but this pro-shot footage of the band performing live (taken from the classic grunge-era movie Singles) is really like finding a diamond in the rough. Not only is the band in top form here, but throw in the fact it’s a performance of one of the best deep cuts from Facelift “It Ain’t Like That” (which features one of Cantrell’s tastiest riffs) just makes it that much more enjoyable. Alice In Chains was such a killer band, and as this performance demonstrates, possibly the heaviest of the big four grunge bands. Crank it.
