After spending the majority of 2010 on the road with Pavement, a reunion that indie-music fans had been awaiting for over a decade, Stephen Malkmus will get back to business as usual with now full time band The Jicks. On August 23, Malkmus & Co. will release their Beck-produced, fifth studio album Mirror Traffic. The ex-Pavement front man recently turned in this solo acoustic performance of the record’s first two tracks – Tigers and No One – for the Parisian site HibOO d’Live. Check it out…

Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks kick off a 20-date fall tour on Sept. 20 at the Majestic Theater in Detroit, MI with notable stops at NYC’s Terminal 5 on on the 26th and a hometown gig at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom on Oct. 13.
