HT faves My Morning Jacket are set to start a two-week coast-to-coast tour tonight in Los Angeles. Last night, the group returned to late night by visiting ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where they performed First Light and Outta My System from Circuital. MMJ has had an active 2011 with 56 gigs under their belts thus far after only playing 13 shows in 2009 and 34 in 2010. We’re hoping the band changes it up a little more night to night as they enter this last leg of the year, but that hasn’t been the group’s M.O. in quite some time.
