Henry Rollins has announced dates for a two-month, 50-show spoken word tour of North America.
Provoked: An Evening of Quintessentially American Opinionated Editorializing and Storytelling (phew!) launches September 14 at the Orpheum Theatre in Flagstaff, Ariz.
Other stops on the extensive schedule include La Zona Rosa in Austin (September 19), The Theatre in West Palm Beach, Fla. (September 25-26), Birchmere near Washington, D.C. (October 1-2), the House of Blues in Cleveland (October 11), The Vic Theatre in Chicago (October 19), Big Easy in Spokane, Wash. (October 27), the Aladdin Theatre in Portland, Ore. (November 1), and 4th & B in San Diego (November 8).

Provoked is Rollins’ most extensive spoken word tour since 2005’s 25 Years of Bullshit, which marked 25 years on the road. Since that time, he has toured with the Rollins Band, entertained American troops through the USO, and hosted a weekly radio show and a talk show on the Independent Film Channel.
