20 years ago today ( 3/21/01) Daft Punk, released their LP Discovery which is considered their finest effort to date. Moving away from their more pure electronic music debut, Discovery churned out melodic themes surrounding their helmet heads with house beats, R& B flair, and disco grooves. Many of the songs from this LP were featured on the French duo’s 2006/2007 Alive pyramid tour – their last tour to date, as they recently announced the finale of Daft Punk.
