25 years ago today (8/6/96), Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers released ‘Songs and Music from the Motion Picture “She’s the One”‘ LP. The album served as the soundtrack for the 1996 film She’s the One, written and directed by Edward Burns. Following just two years after the hugely successful Wildflowers LP, She’s The One never spawned any hits other than “Walls (Circus)” yet it was thought higly enough that Petty’s estate recently celebrated the album with the release of a reimagined version of the LP called Angel Dream (Songs and Music from the Motion Picture She’s the One).
