25 years ago today (1/24/94), Underworld released its third album Dubnobasswithmyheadman. It was the first Underworld album after the 1980s version of the band had made the transition from synthpop to electronic dance music. This cryptic and innovative collection of songs is also the first Underworld album to feature Darren Emerson as a band member. Dubnobasswithmyheadman is revered for its status as a dance album that rocks and ushered in a sound that many other artists would soon be influenced by.
