30 years ago today (6/21/94), Guided by Voices released the seventh of what would become many albums with the release of Bee Thousand. The album’s 20 tracks span just over 36 minutes and, in typical GBV fashion, cut across a triumphant song statement where Robert Pollard proves quick songs in punk fashion can indeed be melodic.
