30 years ago today (10/31/94), in the first of what would be one of the most cherished traditions, Phish debuted their first musical Halloween costume when they performed The Beatles’ White Album at Glen Falls Civic Center in Glen Falls, NY. Fans attending this Halloween show at the small upstate New York City had no idea what shenanigans were in store when they arrived. Still, as the evening unfolded, three epic sets were delivered and helped set the foundation for Phish to carry the legacy of The Grateful Dead upon Jerry Garcia’s death nine months later.
