30 years ago today (4/20/93), Primus released its third studio album Pork Soda. Released just months ahead of headlining the 1993 Lollapalooza tour, Les Claypool, Larry LaLonde, and Tim Alexander brought their most heavy album to date one that toned down the elastic bass gymnastics for more low-end darker musical statements. The first single “My Name Is Mud,” served as the true bold statement of the album with a stomping intro that remains magnetic. Check out the now 30-year-old video for “My Name Is Mud” with Les doing his best tweeker….
