30 years ago today (6/18/91), Van Halen put another trophy on their Van Hagar era with the release of For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge LP. This was the third Van Halen LP to feature vocalist Sammy Hagar and it debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart and maintained the position for three weeks. The album scored three megahits with “Right Now,” “Poundcake” and “Top of The World,” and the band who at this time were in their late 30’s mucho MTV airplay.
