50 Years Ago Today – Aerosmith Play Their First Ever Show (Listen Live in Boston ’73)

50 years ago today (11/6/70) Aerosmith played their first ever show at Miscoe Hill School in Mendon, MA. The new band got the gig because Joe Perry‘s mother, who worked at a nearby school, knew someone at Miscoe Hill, which was then known as Nipmuc Regional High School, and helped set it up. At the time in the band’s history, Brad Whitford was not yet in the band and Ray Tabano the rhythm guitarist. Check out this early audio clip of the band playing live in Boston in ’73…
