5 years ago today (11/21/11), Bob Mould earned some well due praise as The tribute concert, See a Little Light: A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Bob Mould took place at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A. “Im sort of speechless,” says Mould (Husker Du) following performances by Dave Grohl, Ryan Adams, Craig Finn, Britt DAniel, No Age and many others. “The cruel joke in this whole thing is… if I didnt have such a strange childhood, and all this anger that I was carrying around and channeling into my music, I dont know if we would be in this spot tonight.” Watch Mould and Grohl perform the Husker Du classic “New Day Rising”
