50 years ago today (9/5/73), the album marked the recording debut of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as a duo, before they joined Fleetwood Mac was released. Titled Buckingham Nicks, the then real-life couple were scrambling to make musical and life ends meet when they put together this album of ten songs featuring nine originals by then. The album was a commercial failure on its original release, but it did allow them to be noticed by Mick Fleetwood who would invite the duo to form the front bone of the most commercially successful eras of the band or almost any band for that matter.
